Disability Studies Work Group

The Disability Studies Work Group is an informal group of faculty, students, staff and community members who seek to promote disability studies as an emerging field of scholarship at the University of Utah. The work group plans and implements the annual Disability Studies Forum, and serves as a network for events on and off campus relating to wide ranging interests in disability and its representation in society.

The work group meetings are open to anyone who shares our goals.

Disability Studies Advisory Committee

The Disability Studies Advisory Committee is the official body charged with overseeing the curriculum for the graduate certificate. The role of the advisory committee is to accept applicants for the certificate, review and approve courses that meet the disability studies course criteria, and review and approve programs of study for students desiring to complete the certificate.
